This post is about an article I read about the shut down of the government called no end in sight to government shutdown after 'unproductive' White House meeting. In this article they talk about how the government wasn't agreeing with each other and could not negotiate with each other. They were fighting about the heath care plan Obamacare, and the democrats agreed and republicans did not agree with them. It also had quotes in the article from some of the people who were fighting in the meeting and from Obama. I think that the government should just meet in the middle about this situation and get the government back up. I also don't like how they shut down all the national parks and memorials. I also heard world war two veterans tore down the gate and went to see the memorials.

It was a big news but in reality nothing has changed in our lives yet. I think that as kids we aren't affected as much as the adults are.

ReplyDeleteI think that there isn't really a middle ground, but if you remember last year history, George Washington gave a big speech about how political parties and getting involved with other countries would eventually wreck the country so I think that Republican and Democrat alike should both work towards the bettering of our country instead of said political parties.
